Who We Are
Collective: Noun - “A group of people bound by a common action to affect success.”
The Basecamp Collective is a long-term holding company with active management. We identify, partner and nurture family-operated businesses for long-term value creation.
Our Difference
We’ve been in your shoes before and understand the risk you took to create your business. Most of what we’ve learned, can’t be taught in school. We have had significant highs and major lows. Most of all, we empathize with sleepless nights, hard work, and the aches and pains of being an entrepreneur.
At Basecamp, we strive to be the company that we would want to sell our own companies to. We pledge transparency and ethics in every decision, guided by the Code of the West that shapes our daily lives.
We’ve had exposure to transient traditional private equity and rapid-value venture capital models. However, our philosophy is inherently different. We aspire to nurture businesses indefinitely, fostering generational impact.
We are committed to collaborating at all levels and share your vision for employee and management growth and continuity. We want to be the partners you want us to be.
Our ultimate challenge is safeguarding your legacy, something we are prepared to do.
